In preparation for CoP15, the United States submitted the following documents to the CITES Secretariat for inclusion on the agenda of CoP15 on October 14, 2009. The U.S. submissions to amend the list of animal and plant species included in Appendices I and II, in accordance with the provisions of CITES Article XV, paragraph 1, are listed below. The United States, either alone, as a co-proponent, or on behalf of the Plants or Animals Committee, submitted proposals to amend Appendices I and II for the species included below. U.S. submissions for additional agenda items related to the implementation of the treaty are also included here.
